Crazy Holiday Triangle

And we're off! The Holidays start here at home with the opening of friends and family gifts. Even Wini likes Christmas, she could not wait until she tore into her gift.
(It helps when taking a picture to put a dog treat under the paper). Wini loves her new dog bed!

Peter gave Jamison new Beyblades and Jamison gave Peter a new fishing lure. They know each other really well.

I have no idea what what going on here but Jamison has the best facial expression. Thanks Culley and Donna for the game! We love our game nights.
Presents from the girlfriends Lily and Lucy. Their mom Stacey has "cool aunt" status around here.

I have to cringe when the toy comes with safety googles. Thanks SSLL!

There is a kid somewhere under that hair!
We gave the boys new fishing poles. The down side of getting fishing poles for christmas is that you can't use them RIGHTNOW...so the fish can relax until May....then WATCH OUT the Cullen boys will be after you!

Keiko snack from Japan! Thanks Keiko! (although the picutre on this one reminds me of how the boys are acting here. It is a good thing that Santa is already on his way...otherwise I think the boys would be on the naughty list.

After watching A Christmas Story (our newest part of our Christmas tradition) the boys realized that they better get to bed. According to the NORAD Santa Tracker he was already crossing the Atlantic Ocean and was currently in the Azores.
Last year the boys were concerned where HE was going to leave their presents since we now had two trees. This year they assumed that all the gifts would be downstairs. BUT Santa kept them on their toes...there were presents under BOTH trees. First gift unveiled....Miami Dolphin and Denver Bronco pillowpet....hugh!? where is the Packer one?

And a DS game...I dont know how Jamison makes those silly faces. Maybe that will be the expression that he has when he wipes out on his Wipeout2 video game.

Peter (his mother's son) has his loot nicely stacked and organized. They were able to trick Santa into thinking that they were REALLY good in order to get all the stuff they got!
Nothing says Happy Holidays more than a game at Lambeau! Does Clay Matthews know that he is married?

Christmas at Gma and Gpa Van! Thanks so much for everything!

Labryinth is an awesome game! We are going to have fun playing this one!

The Chipmunks were able to see eachother this year! It is always nice to get family together although this year the chipmunks dont have a lot of teeth.

Dolphin joined us for an exciting game of Sequence.

Next Stop Gma and Gpa Cullen. A beautiful addition to our rock collection and a wallet. Not just any wallet, one made out of leather and it has spots for everything, even a McD giftcard that they can spend all on their own. They are soooooo excited.

The Texas Cullens sent geodes so we brought them along so we can split them at Gpa Dons house. They are super cool inside!

They will make a fantastic addtion to our collection. And with Gpa Vans new rock case that they  make them they will have more room!

To round out the trip, Santa gave the family tickets to the Harlem Globetrotter World Championship game and boy was it a blast! I was excited to see Big Easy, one of the Globetrotters that competed in the Amazing Race. The Globetrotters won the game 100-87 and close game with the International Elite.

When we got home we noticed one last package on the porch. One from Heike! Thanks Heike! We love our Lego racers.

They were so fast I could not ge the car in the photo!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! HOPE SANTA WAS GOOD TO YOU!
While Peter and I were out doing errands, Jamison and Pat created a droid costume. The saying is true....kids like the boxes that items come in more than the toy! This is the human mode

This is the droid mode. I hope school starts soon! Momma needs a break! Happy Holidays to everyone!

Deer and more deer and beer

Pat got his first deer this year while hunting with his dad and uncle. Now we are trying to figure out what to do with all this meat. We roasted a loin, used it in stroganoff and now meatballs.
We borrowed my parents meat grinder and went to town. I feel a little like Bubba Blue from Forrest Gump...

"Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it."

Pat assured me that he cleaned the area before he set up his grinding area...but seeing the cans of paint make be question. We now have many pounds of homemade meatballs!
Heike sent Pat a birthday present. It took a while to get here but it made it all in one piece.
Thanks Heike for the cool beer, candy and glass. He always loves to try new beers!

All I want for Christmas

YEAh! You found the new website!
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth! Jamison has joined the ranks with the classic toothless look. I hope they do get some teeth for Christmas!
Thanks Lutz and Christine for the fun Labrynth Game...I have found myself trying to get through it...it is tough!
We hosted our annual Holiday party. Last year the neighbor boy gave Peter a hard time about double dipping....he learned his lesson. So this year Jamison made signs to make sure that no one does it.
The boys were slow going the next morning and were actually cuddling on the couch with out fighting!
Again this year the boys refused to talk to Santa, but instead they wrote a letter. Jamison gave Santa the option of circling if he had been good or bad.....i wonder what the big man is going to decide.
It was crazy hair day at school. Jamison needed a haircut but he thought it would be fun to go to school with a double mohawk....so I shaved him one.....he received a lot of comments. The next day we cleaned him up with a normal #2.
Here is a view from the front, or his mug shot, not sure.
