When the boys got home from spring break we had some serious decorating to do.
The Easter Bunny was coming and we needed to decorate the eggs!. We can not have the same confusion we had with the Tooth Fairy!.
Early saturday morning the boys looked out the windows...and sure enough....spotted some colorful eggs in the yard. I was concerned because we still have loads of snow...where was the bunny going to hide?
We did come across a disturbing scene....some of the eggs were spilled open and the candy was eaten. We found one peanut butter egg wrapper under a tree!. Who would have spoiled this....raccoons? squirrels? the boogie man? Who know. Good thing we found the eggs with the money!
And good thing some of the candy was left!!! Jamison's cheeks are plenty full. Today will be a sugar high day for sure!

Spring Break
It has been a while since we have lost teeth in this house.
Peter had a bit of an issue with the Tooth Fairy and her curiosity with his hamster Wacky. Jamison was a little concerned that she would be distracted by his lizard so he left her a note reminding her to leave the money under his pillow. Well, to our surprise the Tooth Fairy did not come at all! We were all very sad and confused. We had just seen the movie "Rise of the Guardians" and thought maybe she was helping Jack Frost in his adventures.
The next night Jamison saw this letter, with 3$, one more than our normal amount. We found out that T. Fairy was out helping Tom the Leprechan with his fiascos and ran out of time. That explains it!
Spring break is upon us and Pat offered to take the boys up north for the week to give me some peace and quiet. I sent the camera along with him...and this was the only picture he came home with. A nice picture...but no record of what they did all week. When asked, I was told there was a lot of Wii time, reading and Dorito eating. Sounds like a great boy spring break. I, on the other hand, enjoyed sushi, thai, shopping, MN rollerderby girls and sleeping in late. It was awesome!

In like a lion....
The last basketball tournament of the season.
The first game was against 4th graders! Watch out Jamison, get in your ready stance!
And they have some pretty big fourth graders in Dodgeville! Even with Caden's arms up, he still could not reach one kid's head. The boys quickly learned that the other team may be tall, but they are slow. They have an advantage!
Bad mom moment. The kids needed their jersey's tucked in. My boys rarely have their clothes tucked in. Peter did this on his own. You can not tell my the picture, but the shorts were rolled up on themselves, the strings to the shorts were coming out the bottoms and at one point you could see his boxers. With the shaggy mop head and knobby knees...i was in tears with laughter as well as the other parents. He looked so cute!. (and he is mad at me right now because I share this, that is what a mom is for!)
A victory over the 4th graders AND they won the second team in the tournament also! Way to go Vikings!
This photo another mom took, this one you can see the short strings. You got to love him!
Thanks to the coaches/dads! The boys learned a lot, improved a lot and will be ready for the big leaugues! or highschool basketball what ever comes first.
Junky weather means we spend some time on the couch reading and playing video games
Nothing says "Welcome to our Home" more than icicles of death hanging over your head!
This weekend we had our friends Caleb and Isaac over! These boys get along so well that the moms and dads had plenty of time to catch up and enjoy a beer. We introduced the Moore boys to Munchkin. Sorry Megan, I think they are hooked. Here they are pretending to be their favorite monsters- Isaac is Bullrog, Jamison is the Wright Brothers, Caleb is Drooling Slime and Peter is the Floating Nose.
These four boys get along so well it is a shame we live so far away. I cant believe that their mom and I have known each other over 32 years! We met we we were their ages! Now that is friendship through the years!
Thanks Moore Family for coming for a visit. We cant wait for the next time!
Oh, this what the men did....they dont need to chatty chat as much as us "women folk" do,.
