Late on the update...You would think with all of the crazy cold weather we have been having we would spend a lot of time on the computer.
We scheduled some needed surgery for Jamison. Nothing says Happy Holidays like a day at the children's hospital. He was super nervous but made it through the procedure like a rock star. The hardest part of the recovery will be no sports for a few weeks. Yikes.
Indy knew how to keep our patient warm and comfortable.
Heike's package arrived in the mail! Thanks Heike.
Our Annual Iron Chef competition....the boys were trying to keep stern faces, just like they do on the show. This year we had a twist. There were three secret ingredients. The boys "rock/paper/scissors/lizard/spocked" for the rights to pick first. Then the second boy could either pick that one or pick another covered ingredient. Peter had pomegranates and Jamison had ramen noodles.
Peter made build your own wraps with pomegranates and a pasta dish. He also made a cider drink with pomegranates and a salad. He went over the top.
Jamison made a broccoli slaw and a calzone style pastry with steak and ramen. Both meals were delicious but Jamison edged out Peter by 1 vote. What will the next secret ingredient be????
Keiko's package arrived! Paris soccer hats and balls. Thanks Keiko. I dont think they have taken that hats off yet!
The rest of our break has been legos....the largest set they have ever had. There were medieval battles against the world of Chima.. Very entertaining.
Heike....we are still working on those puzzles. Patrick even had to You Tube instructions....and we still havent gotten it!
We were close at one point...not all the way there.
