bad blogger.....2 months of fun

I cant believe it. Two months passed. I have to admit, with the new smart phone, I do not take the effort to get the photos off of it. I have to try harder. We have been busy with Wilderness with the ladies, more futsal, a chess tournament, and an overall cold spring. We are tired of it. BUT have made a turn to warmer weather so we hope to be out enjoying normal spring activities before summer kicks in. I have also been swamped with school....prob another reason why the blog does not get updated all that often. So here is a recap of the last two months.

The annual weekend with the ladies was fun as usual. The kiddos were not that thrilled for the photo in the tub, but I hope they realized that they will have to do this each and every year. It is for us moms! Peter again tried the water slides....but this year they were a success! He did not hit his head and really liked them!

Jamison tried out the ropes course....loved it of course. Thought it was too easy and wanted to go higher. That kid is an adrenaline junkie!

Peter....exhausted after another fun Wilderness weekend!!!

A lady at work lives on a farm was was happy to hook us up with some straw. The boys finally were able to get their bows out that they got from Christmas. Now Pat wants a bow. Boys will be boys.

The school chess tournament signed up for a team competition. They would not let parents watch...we could snap our photos at the beginning and then were pushed out. Ready for the first round.!

Well...the team placed FIRST! you would never see six surprised and excited boys! Congrats! Look at that big trophy!

Next big news....our Saab died. I hate the stress of broken cars. It was time to walk away from all the repairs and get a new car. Patrick painstakingly did his research and picked a Honda Fit! It is cute, little, and gets good gas milage (and it works!)

 Even though it was not red, Jamison still likes it. We were thinking of getting personalized plates...."Hissy" "Barely" or "kindof".

What Jamison really likes is this.....a red mini cooper. We were lucky we could borrow Gma's cooper while we were shopping for a new car. Jamison kept saying he really wants Gma's car when he gets older....but he will spray paint it red like this one. Start saving your money!

Futsal Tournament. Team Valencia!! Baby Coach (coach Dan) was laying out the plans.

Way to go! this was a crazy fun tournament. Valencia went into the final round undefeated....and then sadly lost by one point in the last two minutes. There were tears. Lots of them. They tried to smile for the photo...some were able to fake it better than others. Way to go Valencia!!!

and on a sad note....we had to say goodbye to Indy. 18 years old and a cool member of the family. The boys are very sad....he will be missed.

Well that is our last two months in a nutshell. Patrick is working a lot....I am studying a lot....and soccer season is well on its way!!! Happy Spring!
