Summer Update

I know I have had a hard time updating the blog. so busy. So descriptions are not as informative but fun nonetheless.

We did another color run with some friends....

we started off really clean....and at the end....not so much. My boys are trying to look tough...they just look a little annoyed.

Jamison made a point to be the blue man....we were washing color out of his hair for weeks!

In preparation for the World Cup....wonder who Jamison is cheering for?

Took some friends up to the cabin for Memorial Day....boys were excited to be old enough to take the kayaks and canoes out in the lake. I think they were re-enacting a battle of some sort...I heard "attack!!!" and then saw a lot of water splashing!

It is a lot of work having fun. They need to rest.

After school, boys were involved in Camp Invention, and really enjoyed it. They were encouraged to take things apart and build new!

We now have some lovely structures

After camp we had some lovely house guests from Sweden. The boys had to get used to girls in the house...it was pretty funny to watch.

We took them to Governor Dodge, House on the Rock, and strawberry picking. Fun was had by all. Patrick and Jamison took them to Great America...Peter and I were happy to stay home on that adventure.

Then up north, with the Swedes and the Cullen Cousins, for some holiday fun! Kayaking, water balloon fights, hottubbing, and fishing. Crazy, good time fun!

Pat and Tim enjoyed throwing children off the dock....this was Peter, he got some height.

Grandma and Grandpa are going to need a bigger couch!!!

It was great seeing the cousins and the Swedes!

Sad, angry, and upset at minute 24. Poor Guy.
I will try harder to update this. But this is what I said last time....and it look longer. We will see.
