Peter Day! and soccer finally!

Everybody celebrate! It is National Peter Day!
I think this is only a face a mother can love. Peter requested pizza and lemon cream pie. I think this was his request last year also. I guess you cant go wrong with a good thing!
For a gift we went "cullen-style", finely wrapped in brown paper bags. I didnt get a photo, but wrapped so delicately inside...a glow-in-the-dark basketball and Magic (collecting/game) cards. Move over Pokemon....her comes Magic.
Even on Peter Day...a boy has to do his homework! And I know you wont be distracted with your mothers work on the table....your brother doing his homework AND dont forget the sleeping cat! good gravy!
After the many cancellations...rain rain and more rain, the boys finally had their first soccer game of the season. They were playing a team a whole year older than them. They held their own and played hard. They lost 6-2 but again the kids were older...and bigger...and had some lucky shots.
Cullen boy defense! Nothing will get through them!
We also got new bikes...bigger bikes...with gears and hand brakes. The bikes are a little big for the boys but we figure in a week they will fit perfectly! We are in need of a little practice with the push start and braking...if they use their feet to brake like in the old days they are going to hurt their tender boy parts. You can tell Jamison is a little nervous...
But it is red, has gears and goes fast! and most importantly, fits on the bike rack for the car.
Peter was pretty impressed his clothes matched his bike! But you can also see the concentration in the face....no major crash yet!
and he has realized that he has to pull the hair back when he puts the helmut on! Way to go!
We are also seeing more tooth action lately...one more to go before we have a little break again! We also learned that the tooth fairy will not go in Speedy's (the lizard) cage. I dont think she likes the crickets...but I think she is still waiting for Peter to lose another tooth, I think she is hooked on Wacky's (the hamster), wheel.
